You are talking pipe dreams buddy. I am talking about the brand new turbo cats. Been running with them all winter. 35psi...there you go again with a estimated hp rating. Lets see the dynos on pump!!! you WILL not run with a mcx apex 290hp kit. It wont happen and dosint happen. Listen, you push...
its under the rear cover and is exposed to track snow. But only untill it is packed up with snow then no more. I couldnt get passed 5 psi, this was the problem. You should of seen inside this filter about a inch of ice had pooled on one side. Thanks for the info
THe north adventure is PACKED! I have been riding every day this week with guys from down south and the trails are good. Not great but good, they are being used alot because of the bad seasion down south. We have 2 feet of snow and its below -30 right now.
This is after a ride in -30 weather today and its a recurring problem. I cant even drive in deep snow with out it plugging up. Yes, there was a prefilter on, this is what it looked like under the prefilter! I might need to get a block off plate or relocate my fillter.. lol :die
Can you just get the usb cable that hooks up to the back of this box and use a program to adjust your maps. Instead of buying the mcx display box? I mean the dealers can do it. Whats stopping us? All I should need is the cable and a program. What do you think?
It would be all speculation unless we lined them up. Im talking about the real facts and the proof is in the pudding as they say. Let me know if you have seen different. Show me the dyno results of a 1100 on 91 octane pulling 290-300 hp..... or some cases you have actually witnessed. there are...
Good luck with your decision. Lots of cats are running build up kits and still have no chance with apex 290 kits. I have watched it with my own eyes on multiple occasions . And ask a honest cat owner with a modified cat, they will say apexs are in a higher class, thats how bad they get beaten...
I took it out to see whats wrong. Update, Just pulled apart my transfer rod and it had fallen apart inside. What a mass, the bolt is jammed up inside the tube.
Here is a vid of my apex. I have a big issue keeping the skis on the ground and the transfer rod is almost tightened all the way too. In this vid it shows the transfer rod doing nothing...maybe im wrong. Look the front part of the suspension is not even compressed when the rear is.

Is there a way to move the rear shock spring C-clip without a press? Any tricks out there anyone knows of?
To be more specific its the c-clip that can be moved into 3 places on the rear shock. I bottom out alot....
Attak 07
Thanks
Mine can handle 20 psi on avgas. I dont have a head shim anymore because I run LC pistions now. compression is 127 psi. My MCX box is reflashed. But its the 260 kit not hte 290 kit. Please read the first post before replying. And thanks for your opinions.
I run a narrowband on my MCX turbo apex. I know the MCX computer is doing its job adjusting the a/f in real time so the only reason I have the a/f gauge is to tell me when something is going wrong. I know there will be guys saying they are not good but if you only need to know when you have a...
engages now @ 3800 revs to 10500 , then floats from 10100 to 10500 depending on terrain. BTW this is after installing a tigher seciondary spring and adding 2 washers to the tips of the weights.
Only thing is off the trail it goes to 10500 and dives to 9800 and stays there during acceleration.
I have a white secondary spring that came with the sled. Its white with a baby blue spray paint stripe. its 3/4 in taller. It feels alittle harder compression and less windings. does anyone know whats its from? Im sure its a aftermarket spring for a 03 rx turbo.... I have a white spring primary...
