That’s what I’m going to do I have to be able to trail ride and off trail with my sled which is why I went with the xtx to begin with. It would be nice to have all the original parts just in case would anyone know the center to center measurements for the 38” front end shocks?
can some one fill me in on front end sizes I am measuring center to center of spindle I have a 42” on my xtx what else is there I was thinking I can get my shocks shortened for a 40” front end if that’s a thing will they work for a 38” front ?

I cleaned mine out after two seasons and had about half a soda cap of water in it as I was afraid of it freezing and sticking. Never had a issue with it sticking but always looking for something easy to work on in the garage.:beer:
Can anyone tell me how thick the copper gaskets are I have some 18ga copper sheeting in the garage which is about a 1/16” was just going to make one if it’s close on thickness
My sled has a 1.6 on it and I have maybe one lug missing in 4500miles so I would think there is life on that track yet why not cut the lugs down and stud it I wouldn’t think any more lugs would get tore up the studs would take the abuse imstead of the lugs
