You can drop the belly pan.. I had mine off from when I did the oil change and left it off to do the a-arm bushings..
I strongly recommend the Ulmer Racing bushings.. Amazing kit.
Project cheap Summer Nytro buy:
I have the gas tank, seat off, removed exhaust cover under the fuel tank. I used a little heat and got three bolts out holding the clamps on.
Am I able to just slide the pipes forward enough just to install the new donuts?
The sled has 4900 miles and...
It seems fine now. I guess that's how they are. The replacement battery for the 2012 fits a little tighter then the oem battery in the 08. Must just be how it is.
Can anyone post a pict of their battery bracket installed? For some reason my batteries are really loose in the sleds.. Not sure if I'm missing something?
It was the Battery. I swaped the battery out of the 08 and the 2012 started right up. I was amazed how loose the batteries are in the holders. I'm wondering if there's something special I need to with the instal of metal plate that holds the battery in?
Yeah thats the plan. I have warranty left till Dec.25th. I will swap the battery with the 08 I have sitting beside it.. I need to invest in a multi-meter soon
I have no codes. I've had the battery on the trickle charger for awhile. It does seem like it doesn't have enough amps. The motor does turn over but not fast enough. Well that's a piss off. The sled is basically new. I can swap the battery with the 08 sitting beside that does start.
I thought it was a battery problem. I charged the battery still no go. It seems to turn over really slow and after you let go of the key something makes a weird clicking noise. Any ideas? I've had 5 of these things go through my shop and I have never have any trouble with anything under the hood.
I'm looking at 2009 Apex with Stage 1 MPI supercharger.
Over 7,000 miles.. no idea who did the install.. Owner says it work well.
The price seems fair... Anything specific I should look for in regards to the supercharger?
I just don't want to get hit with a costly repair..
I got lower ball joint kit from Ulmer Racing. Now for my install. Fast shipping. I also need to fab a strap for my Carbon fiber two brothers exhausts. Change the oil. Install new sliders. Then do complete detail. Then it will be all set.
