i had the "blacked out" look in 07 with paint, and it didnt last long riding through the woods in the U.P. if you get sick of it due to it chipping off look at the other year phazers and models. go on the yamaha parts fische search the sleds and locate the part numbers to order the color panels...

if you do a bar conversion use RSI elements and cut the factory conectors off the bars, with enough legth of wire of coarse.

i also LOVE my CnA's on my phazer. i run 10in of carbide with no studs, rearend dances to much for most who have ridden it.

i used a polaris pro x track. it is 121x14-1.375. extrovert drivers will not work due to ever 2nd window is closed.

DONE! everything powder coated, carbon fiber D&D street bike pipe. im milling a piece of aluminum to fit in the end cap, due to it being too loud. i put on a 1.375 prox track. NO paint on the plastic, all yamaha. exception to center piece above exhaust. ps if interested its for sale pm for info ;)

no pics of the final product... that was last fall. it now has white rails, red slides, white bumper, white seat frame and the all black yamaha gripper seat. custom carbon fiber D&D exhaust. sled is going to be on the market soon too.

well i dont know if it will do any thing. on motocross bikes we cut the screen off the filter bracket for less air restriction. it was a proven free mod on the bikes. when u open the air box hood, there is a retainer that holds in the foam filter. simply cut the metal screen out of the retainer.

haha, maybe if u have some shocks that are 2in longer with cans (prox chassis walkers) i would trade. with out the sway bar i lost some spring rate. I had fox floats, but these i just got back, had them setup for snow cross, they are STIFF! but i would like little longer, little more travel.

if you do not touch the bore/stroke and ported polished, cut the seats, add my buddys valves, reground the stock cams, he thinks it would be around 10hp gain. he is no joke, tho he doesnt do sled motors and only builds bikes. he would know what he can get out of a 250f based motor...
