Status report time. The RMotion suspension works GREAT in my 121 Nytro. Much better than the Yamaha skid, and roughly 20Lbs lighter. Finally, the FX Nytro rides and handles like it should have on fast and rough trails.

Awesome! These sleds are fun when the front is dialed. Hopefully the rMotion is the last piece to balance out the rough trail handling. If nothing else, it drops 20Lbs.

Anyone going to the Soo-500 this Saturday? I’ll be there, and solo trail riding Sunday. Most likely head to Mackinac Island.

Length is debatable. I know some like the shorter Axys ProS spindles, to keep the ski pressure a little light, reducing darting but maybe not as hard carving. I prefer the taller Axys Pro RMK mountain sled spindles, which raise the front a little, and give more ski pressure and sharp handling...

Sean, I hate to Break this to you, but the 2015 Indy SP uses the older suspension design with shorter spindles and different geometry for the steering mount. You may encounter excessive bump steer. I looked at them briefly when I researched my swap, and decided against them. The newer Axys...

What do you want to relocate? Steering? Skid? Speedometer?

Ride it before you mess with any suspension settings. The previous owner might have known a thing or two.

Skidoo rMotion swap complete. Took about 4hrs start to finish, including all work and greasing everything.

No, I like it in the stock location. It’s very comfortable for me. I switched from a Cat snocross sled with very similar steering.

I can’t stop. Nytro rear suspension is unable to keep up with my front suspension on really rough high speed trail rides. The rMotion 120” skid is going to replace the original Yamabrick skid. Stay tuned.

Time for an update. The taller Axys RMK spindles really work well. I’m really happy with how stable my Fx Nytro has become, and the steering effort is improved as well. Just wish the rear suspension could keep up with the front on rough trails.

Which way are you rotating the engine? If backwards, it WILL jump time on the camshafts. Rotating forward it should NOT ride off the cam teeth.

It mounts outside of the oem body.

A Nytro really doesn’t need a better intake. Adding a handful of bullseye filters to the lid is all you need for any mod short of forced induction. K&N pods are no better.
