to favarcat,
It started again about 10-15 minutines later and I took it for about a 1/2 hour run with no problems. it starts fine now. Haven't had it out again to see if the probelm persists since out snow is all gone but we are expecting 10-14 inches on Friday. Keep my fingers crossed...
I had the right side panel off last evening to check oil, etc. and when I went to put it back on I noticed that the plastic pin on the inside of the panel that fits into a rubber grommet is broken off. It's the pin that acts kind of like an anchoring point for when you put the panel back on...
Sorry I missed the "Does the fuel pump run with the key in the first position?" Do I have to disconnect the fuel line to check this or just listen to it? If it is just listen to it, then where is it? Maybe I should pick up a shop manual, me thinks. Thanks
Thanks for the info guys. But, I do have some other questions. Does anyone have a picture of where the fuel ralay is on the sled so I can take a look at it? Could it have warmed up enough just from sitting for about 10 minutes? What do you mean by reinstall? Would that be remove it and put...
Hopefully someone can shed some light on an issue. I went for my first ride a couple of weekends ago. The sled is a 2006 apex rtx that was a demo and has 2500 km on it. I took it out it and was around 0 celsius and I cruised around a farmer's field next door for about 10 minutes and then...
We got blasted the weekend before last here in Nova Scotia 12+ inches. I went out saturday and sunday, it was awesome for my first ride on the new sled. The weekend before that it was 20C. But now sad to say the snow is all gone again. But, keep positive guys. It's comin'
I have not had any probelms what so ever with Bergstrom. I ordered the carbides in mid September and received them mid October. Just my 2 cents but waiting 4-6 weeks for such a superior product should not be an issue. People wait years to buy a particular car and I think that's a little...
Thanks guys. And to tcona-AGT, I'm used to being laughed at, I'm a Newfie. The way I see it, if you can't laugh at yourself you can't laugh at nobody!!!!
I just bought a 2006 Apex RTX demo sled and noticed there are a few threads here re: rear idler wheels falling apart and hand wamers that don't work well. Does Yamaha have a fix for these problems or do I have to take care of these issues on my own? thanks
I just bought a 2006 Apex RTX demo sled and have noticed that there seems to be several threads re: rear idler wheels falling apart and issues with hand warmers. Does Yamaha have a fix for these issues or am I going to have to take care of this on my own dime? Any info is appreciated. Thanks...
Hey RR, I'm originally from Deer Lake and am living in River Philip,NS now. I've lived out west for 20+ years and really missed the snow and sledin'. It's good to be back on this end of her, b'ye.
Has anybody tried the ski boots for loading and unloading your sled on a trailer? If so, please provide any useful info. such as do they work or are they just a flash in the pan? :winter:
