I hear the EPI kit engages nice and high around 6000 RPM for a nice holeshot, gets the track speed up quicker, roost your riding buddies. haha.
Someone over on HCS has it installed.
I think I will order one real soon, and I'll have a review posted.
Not sure about the part number, but it's from a Snow Pro firecat, 1-3/8" full clipped as well.
They were VERY cheap on E-bay in Feb. last year. (this year.)
A truly wicked mod, and the 8" wheels are just soo pimp. haha.
Alright, put about 200 miles on it.
This track is what the Phazer should have come with.
UNREAL on the trails. On a lake with about 10" of fresh powder, I can keep up to or even beat MUCH larger sleds for a short burst. It now hangs the skis in the air for a while, and hooks up.
It's...
FB, wtf you doing on a Yamaha site? lol
Anyways, I guess I take my sled to the crapiest dealer in the world again, Sudbury Cylcle and Marine
I will go there and complain that only half of my grease fittings take grease, and of course they will brush it off and make me fix it myself...
Anyone know if you can get gears from the aftermarket instead of paying the Yamaha price?
I'd like either a 17T top or a 42T bottom gear.
Royal distributing doesn't list gears for the 2007 YPZ....
Looking for a bit extra bottom end grunt to help turn the longer paddle track.
Amazing!
Do you have a website w/ pricing information?
I'd like one in the future, but not that much boost. I'll get a 8 psi wastegate spring thank you very much...
;)!
You connect to the stock header with a OD over ID slip flange.
I used a Supertrapp from a FZR600 and it fit like a glove. Nice stainless midpipe, and stainless T bolt clamps VERY high quality.
I think I paid 100$ for it on e-bay - Brand new, clamp on installation.
Not 100% necessary to...
Trade my 4 for a 2 ... ?
Hmm, I dunno guys, you know afterall, an F7 did win the stock 1000 class @ Haydays this year.
HAHAHAAH.
Nah, I'll never go back. I like the smell of my sled too much, (or lack therof smell) I should say.
Yeah, I'm not brave enough yet, the things not even paid off...
haha.
It does water VERY well though... All I did was tape up the clutch side, and that's it. I had the smallest lugs and HP out of the 3 sleds, but on the water, you couldn't tell at all.
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone here knew anything about what needs to be done when wedling onto the '07 Phazer...
I have a small repair to make in the front frame, it's a pretty accesible spot, and I don't need to remove the whole thing to weld it.
What electronic components should I...
Did you figure this out?
I have the pages from the Yam service manual scanned, if you want I can send them to your e-mail.
I changed mine a couple weeks ago and it went very well.
That will work exept the rear bushings (if you want to run 2 outer wheels) will need to be milled down .250 each side, due to the 13.5" track. The front wheels (by the coil spring mount) will need to be removed, or somehow modified to fit. (you would have to re-design the spring mount, making...
I've been getting some PM's about how the install went.
Parts:
MMP Rail Extensions (bought from Dennis Kirk) 3.75" -136" to 144" OFFSET for 8" Big Wheel swap.
(2) Cat M8 8" rear wheels (These are priced WELL and have a removable bearing, same size as stock Phazer)
(1) 128" X 13.5"...
