I talked to Joe Gibs Racing the other day about running their oil in my sled, they told me they would not recommend thieir oil because I told them it would have to last 2000kms. They do not recommend their oil for over 500 miles. It does not have much detergent and will cause deposits if not...
Doesnt PC V have all the same features as the Rapidbike but the auto tune feature is 250 dollars from power commander and is 5000 dollars from Rapid bike for tuning bike? You can boost sense with PCV was well.
Here is what I run on my MCX (270 kit) Nytro with a 162 2.5. These are mountain setups though.
8BU-00 (48.7 Grams) weights fully loaded 9 grams.
B W B primary spring
14.5 Rollers
45 degree helix
Pink secondary wound 70 degrees.
OR
47 degree helix with cat purple.
I have a 16 wide on my MTX with a 162 ezryde. It fits just fine. Just call CR racing and get them to send you a kit to fit a 16 wide in the Nytro. It was like 15 bucks for all the bolts needed and instructions.
I personally would never turbo a Phazer again, supercharge it. We did 2 of them and they never did run they way they should. Supercharger is a better fit for the phazer motor.
Ya, the MCX kit coupled with the power commander with timing control really does wake it up on the bottom end and you can pull timing under boost. I really works sweet, and you can turn your sled when it is under vacuum.
I have looked at Megasquirt and microsquirt as well. The one thing micro squirt was missing was the ability to run the Idle control valve, mega squirt can. Microsquirt does have a input for the bar sensor and was definately a interesting read. Lots of good info out there on Megasquirt. Lots...
I also had to disconnect 2 RB3's in Mcbride this year. The problem was the ignition part of the RB3, it would not fire the spark plugs. Cant remember the exact codes that came up 33,34 35 may be.
I run my Nytro with MCX turbo trail riding as well as mountains with no problems. You may need to carry extra fuel but other than that you are good to go. This year probably 1000 trail, 2000 mountains.
There are little shims but they last 400 kms and it starts to rattle again. Dont worry about it, you are going to have to get used to it. It is the harmonics of the 3 cylinder engine. Just check your primary spring every once in a while to make sure it is not broke. You should hear it rattle...
What kind of paint did you use to paint the panels? I am changing my tunnel and I thought that was a good summer project, you take it to a whole new level.
No wasnt the kind of thing I think, run get a camera, for. I sold the skid and drop brackets. I went to a ezryde and they use a bracket that is the same dimensions as the stock brackets. Way wider, distributes the load better.
