Stoutner - we are debugging this weekend in Michigan - and will post results on Monday. We switched from the Supreme 4 arm clutch to the new Supreme 8 arm clutch and have to get it dialed in.

We are using an AMS 1000 - but just started working with it. Sled is a full race set up from start to finish. Will post more once we get a chance to give it a whirl.

We are running an '06 APEX with a a mid-mount MCX race kit - 30 lbs of boost, new pro-line rear skis, boost controller, lightened significantly, crank, carillo rods, JE pistons, cams, valves, etc, etc, etc. Been too busy to get to the track but hope to in the next week or 2.

Whats the latest on this?

Found a few things we needed to look into - but those things didn't change the way the sled runs. The new ECU box arrived and the weather finally broke, and it was the box! Sled runs great on the practice runs we have done. Needed to (and have) ordered a boost controller - as we are smoking...

The new box arrived - and am changing that out. Also found a few things regarding vacume that didn't appear to be correct that we changed out. Mark at Leipheimer has been a big help. Snowy were we are at and the sled is set up for asphalt - plan on testing next week. We'll keep you posted.

Thanks - certainly something we need to eliminate. Also looking at all the wiring - TPS hook up, all sensors, etc. We did this but will do it again when we get this new ECU. I am not running the standard Yamaha gauge set up - the pod is not on the sled as it has a complete data collection...

That is certainly an option that we may need to try out. ClimbMax has the same system (including the intercooler) which is working well for him - which is what is leading us to the wiring / ECU box. We will have a back up plan for the intercooler if the ECU and wiring check out good. :exc:

Srxspec - Correct. Sled is currently in NY, and I am currently in MN. Picking the sled up 3-7-08, then over to your place. Appreciate the help with this. The new ECU box should be in this week, and as soon as we get it we will swap the current one out to see if that was it. As soon as...

No success yet - I am waiting for the new ECU box to arrive - hopefully this coming week.

lowmark - did it ever run correctly on the turbo? Do you know if it is a cylinder or all cylinders going lean? I have a similar problem on an APEX mid-mount I am trying to figure out - #4 goes lean as #2 goes rich at 7000RPM. Haven't swapped the box yet but am working on that.

Thanks for the replys. I do not think it is a leak because the motor runs great off of boost (no boost)- it only acts up under boost. # 2 goes rich at 7000 rpm as #4 goes lean at the same RPM. At 6500 RPM #2 goes lean. At 6000 RPM everything looks good. We are working to confirm the wiring...
