got there, everything set up, went through tech, open time trials started and then the rain. no one made a run down the track. they cancelled the racing, rain stopped and sun came out.

Corey... did you happen to weigh the sled before and after the modifications (with fluids) to see how much weight you have taken out?

No I haven't. I think there is a scale at NYIRP, but not sure how accurate. I still have the heat exchangers in for now, just disconnected. I want to make sure everything works before I tear them out. I couldn't tell you a starting weight anyway.
While moving (driving to tech and back) them temp never got above 160. When I had to stop and slow down though it started to climb. The little fan I have may not be enough. That's not into the throttle either though.
I really need that test day.

I decided not to go because the weather was looking a little suspect. I'm glad I didn't now. I'll be out in the next few eeeks. I want to get a test day in before the big race at ESTA.

Stoutner - we are debugging this weekend in Michigan - and will post results on Monday. We switched from the Supreme 4 arm clutch to the new Supreme 8 arm clutch and have to get it dialed in.

A few weeks ago we ran at Milan - and it didn't go very very well. Big issues making more than a few pounds of boost.
The folks at OSP helped resolve the issues and we made 5 passes this past Sunday - last 2 passes in the 8.80's. We ran out of track time but hope to get a little more out of it. The guy's at OSP were a great help!
Back to the track on Thursday for more testing.

Finally got back to the track - ran 8.42. Still ran out of gear at the top end and haven't made a pass yet without having to get out of the throttle for at least 1.3 seconds due to drifting to the right. Should have that fixed and headed back to the track next weekend in Wisconsin.

Im seriously thinking of going bracket racing with an Apex. If I knew you were there, I may take a ride out and give you a hand. Been bracket racing my entire life. Looking to do something different than another dragster or door car.

Slippery rock. I need to double check the schedule - I think they test and tune on Saturday (which I can not make as a result of a previous commitment). Depending on what the schedule is Sunday - I am hoping to get there. I aslo have a family commitment in the morning.

Your crazy to pay Al's test and tune prices.
It has been the closest track for me for years. I have went there 2 times since 1994. Im not a big fan of Al Corda, his management, his horrible payouts etc.
If you could PM me when you know your schedule or post something here I would appreciate it. Looking into seriously doing this with an apex and would like to see a few run.
