"Where did you get the bumper/cover. Is that aluminum sheet metal like a skid plate?"
Yup like a aluminum skid plate. All of them a re Yamaha items, not sure what they have for the 700 though. Thanks I like the way it looks too
Thanks JD, I was running stock crap tires before the MST's. I haven't had time to give them a full test yet but they sure do look nice. I'm sure I'll like them given all the good I have read about them. I'll keep you all posted.
The recovery point I bought through Cabela's. It is really...
I went with the 25/9/12 in front and the 25/11/12 in back. The lugs on these tires are huge (1.125" deep) and wrap around the side wall of the tire too. I really like them. I have only ridden them on pavement so far. Up to 30mph they are butter smooth. Haven't gone any faster than that yet...
Good news because I bought some and mounted them up last weekend. They look great. I was surprized at how smooth the rode on pavement. Don't know about trails yet. I'll post some pictures up when I have time.
Optimate 3 gets my vote. It's a great charger and can recover batteries you thought were junk. It has a special way of charging. It has paid for it self in the batteries it has saved for me.
