Thanks for the responses. I'm sure the noise is coming from the primary when it opens. I hardly even notice it, but when the misses rides the sled it's always clanking.

Not really release the clutch, release the throttle (i'll edit the post). I'll give it a quick shot of gas and release without moving the sled. It makes a loud metal on metal clunk.

I have a 03. Same problem. I believe it's related to the carb heaters. You can install a valve to turn off the heater. I've been just living with it.

I have a 03 RX. I'm looking to lighten the rear of the sled. The weight of the front end dosen't bother me, but when I get stuck I have a hard time lifting the back end compared to other sleds I've owned. Would a aftermarket muffler help alot? Is that where the weight is coming from?

Yeah, it fits fine. I don't think they have a red one, only black. Here's my 03 with the Nytro windshield.

Nope, won't fit without a lot of modifications. The nytro winsheild fits. Some people have cut the stock windshield to look similar to the Apex.

Does the new phazer have heat exhangers under the runner boards or somewhere under there? Or just a rad? or both?
