Ive been thinking the same thing about my raptor, im not sure how much to bump the jets either for cold temps, trial and error i guess.Bluetraxx has a thread running on a ski kit for the front end, but thats why i got a Yamaha sled. Looking forward to some input on this.

Do you grizzly riders wake up your 660s? Ijust put on a Pro Circuit slip on, K+n powerlid with outerware, K+N airbox filter, jetted it and the difference is shocking just how corked up these are stock. I realize mine is a raptor, but just curious what kinda mods you perform and if they work...

Yamaha recommends regular, the extra octane in premium is just not required unless you have increased your compression, or you experience knocking or pinging.

The owners manual suggestss a valve adjustment in the first month of operation, and every six months after. Its my understanding that the intakes usually need the adustments, and that the exhausts rarely go out of spec.

Bought a left over 04 Raptor 660 last week, thought i would join in on the fun. Stock for now, gonna be fun modding it up.
