Yea i looked at the race sled in novi at the yamaha booth and it looked like a handcrafted doo replica skid.. Yamaha needs to take note of there poor rear suspensions.

The best way to start is measure the front bolts and the rear drop holes for the skid on a ski doo rev. Then transfer those measurements over to your tunnel. Make your rear drop plates out of 3/16 aluminum, and u will have to use 3/16 plate on the inside of the tunnel for the front mounts to...

yes it does, or try two down to a 22 top gear with overdrive sheaves. nice pull tree to tree in the trails, but will lose a bit on top on the big lakes. just depends on your riding style.

Get yourself some good gas shocks valved to the weight of the rx-ton with that doo skid... It makes a huge difference imo...think snow!

I would do the update just and new bearings just for piece of mind. Not very hard and fairly inexpensive IMO.

I run the 60cx with the ram mount, nice piece and worth every penny no doubt, I rolled a few times last winter, and I mount mine on the bars higher up, its just pushed back flat, no damage to gps or mount. But... The P.O.S headlight and dash jap plastic didnt do so good :o|

I have the renegade 16 inch track myself, shave a few rivets on the inside of the tunnel and the front chaincase bolt, and keep it centered, you will have no problems. I have 4k on mine.

Ice ripper, great trail track ,swapping mine in a few weeks for the season.
