I had the same issue the carbides were paper thin with about 300 miles on. Put 6inch on the inside and hard weld on the outside. Needless to say it fixed all my pushing in the corners and it handles like a dream now!

I would go with the viper. I never rode a nytro but from what I read it seems like you have to do a lot of front end work to get it to handle decent. The viper on the other hand (set up correctly) is a great trail machine. I personally have the 137inch track cause I like to go off trail a lot...

You don't think getting the extra fuel from waiting for it to prime will help start hot? It's just seemed when I turned the key all the way off then on again is when it would want to start back up.

My dealer replaced my header and muffler before I even picked the sled up this year, they should fix it under warrenty.

My ltx runs right around 165 in good snow and creeps up when the snow conditions aren't as good, I ran a river all weekend with low-ish snow conditions and never had any issues

I'm in Wisconsin and I have progressive for everything but my sled. They told me that my ltx viper was a "race sled" and tried charging me $3k per year for full coverage. I called foremost and got full coverage for around $650 for the whole year.

Yea most of my riding will be done in south eastern and norther wisconsin so a windshield seems like one of the most useful add ons at this point, and the muffler is pretty much a must! Moar power!!! I was also looking into shock lower front shock gaurds, I'm sure they don't do too much, but hey...

They can cost anywhere from 20-$500 just something that's nice to make the sled more fun, better, faster, stronger, or makes it look better doing it. And your lucky! I still am waiting on mine at the dealer ordered it about 3 months ago, their still waiting in warranty parts, and the worst part...
