Anybody out there running 1.450" picks with standard short track drivers?
So for the last two seasons I was running stock drivers with a 1.25" Ripsaw track that was studded by somebody else and I assumed it had 1.325" studs. Well, 5,000 miles later, Before the beginning of this season, I...
Got it!!!! Thank you!
I rechecked my jump wire at the relay switch, and then tested for power at the light plug (yes!), plugged in the headlight and they worked.
Removed the jump, installed the relay, out again with high beam indicator on.
Thank you for your patience walking me through this...
Okay, progress? When I unplug both the high beam indicator goes out. When I plug in either side (one at a time) the indicator light is back on. I have power to the blue w/white stripe at the relay. When I check for a short (ohms from the relay plug to the negative terminal on the battery), I see...
Okay, back at it today. I picked up a meter and tested voltage at headlight fuse and it's good there. Replaced load control relay with a new one and jumped low beam (blue w/white stripe to dark green) and still no luck. High beam indicator is still on! I can't see where the darn wires go from...
Thanks for your help grizztracks. The boss has told me that I'm done running the sled inside tonight. Going to grab a multimeter in the morning and give it another go.

Okay, I don't have a meter or a test light... I swapped the fan relay and the load control relay and the problem is still the same. High beam light on, tail light on, no headlight. I pulled the wires back under the bars, there was a little chaffing on the outside cover, but all wires appear...
I was riding last year and my headlights suddenly went out without any warning. I checked the easy stuff, including bulbs, fuses, and relays with no luck. Had all the body work off and inspected the wiring and there were no apparent chaffing. Anybody had this issue? Any suggestions?
Thanks in...
