Anyone tackled a head gasket replace on a Sr viper? Not sure what to do. Can't afford to have a dealer do it right now. Don't really have the time to do it myself but I might take it on. Or just park it for the season and deal with it in the fall. I have done this type of work and i am comfortable with my ability just not sure what kinda time I'm gonna need to spend to get it done. Anyone have experience with this job?

Pressure tested system , it's ok. Did the blue fluid test , stayed blue indicating no combustion gasses in system. Gonna try a vacuum filler to fill the system tonight but I can't imagine it's been an air lock causing all this. Anyone had issues with the water pump? Gonna check it tonight just in case there is an issue. Can you get at the pump without taking the clutch off? Enough to see if there is a broken fin or something.

What did it end up being?Seems it was an air lock all along. So far so good. Fingers crossed.
He says it was a air lock. So lift front way up in air, lift rear way up and tip it on side. Check rad cap fill level each time. Then ride it in some rough trails and check again. Airlock is just a bubble in system but they can block coolant flow. Check for flow by putting hand on radiator and heat exchanger,What did it end up being?
