i dropped my sled off a few days ago. the link kit is in and they are putting the radiator fan on as well.
link kit includes tons of parts. all free of charge under warranty.

I got a wealth of information to bring to my dealer i gathered up about people breaking them and people that got updated to 08 specs free. along with overheating issues. i'm walking in and throwing the 1 inch thick stack of stuff i printed on his desk.

new sled, first ride...
Well my first ride on my sled I bought this winter I broke my link.
I picked up last week as a leftover dealer demo. 750 miles or so on it.
I head up to tug hill this sunday. Ride about 140 miles then the link broke. had to limp the sled home 25 miles then finally we hit groomed...
there online at yamaha-motor.com go to snowmobiles then in right u'll notice my yamaha, sign up then u can access parts diagrams for any machine.

what do you need that kind of protection for. any decent hit will just destroy the metal mat anyways.
and its not like its gonna stop snow/ice buildup, if anything it will hang to it more

those are great with a good set of goggles. i've found them better then regular double lens helmets and even heated helmets.
