Back Country 1.75. Full windows for the increased lug height and hyfax wear. Fully clipped would be nice too. Don't forget some extroverts, Wahl brothers sound good. Might need them with all the HP. XC pro will be the best on trail but trenches in easier in the deep. Challanger has softer...
Leeko makes a point. Probably not a good choice if your going to stud. I imagine pull throughs would be prevelant. Nytro's already have a racheting problem so if you change to this track, change your drivers so if the track stretchs your track tension isn't as important with our torque...
Sounds like great advice. We backpacked across Michigans Upper P. last year. A few loops out of a home base and a night or two out of a backpack sounds perfect. Thanks! I'll see what the four people I'm going up with are hearing. I'd bet its something similar. I'll throw you a PM if I have...
Awesome! Now we're talking. I'm marking my map. Its just a print screen of the sled gps map but I'll find a better one.
So is Island Falls or Houlton a good place to stay? Is that far enough north? Presque Isle be better? I dig boondocking.
We're heading to Maine this February for a week of riding, partying and having fun. Emphasis on riding.. Any pointers on what part of Maine to go to? Northern Maine? Any must ride trails? Places to see? Links with some good info on the area? Trail Maps? Any info would be of interest. Thanks..
A friend of mine I ran into last year was. 1 3/8 Cobra single ply. He loved it even though he was worried about the single ply issue. Him or his friend who had about 2k on the same trackloved it. Agressive riders too. Said it was holding up fine. Looked sweet on his sled too. It was a...
I got them off last night without any drama. I just put a rag ofer it and grabbed the plug cap at an angle with my channel locks. Twist pull and .. pop. Off without a problem. I just hate forcing things. Torque spec in the book was lower then what I'm used to for spark plug reinstallation...
Yeay I tried quick last night but didn't put much effort into it. They seem brittle. I'll get after it tonight again. Just didn't know if I was missing something without a better look. Thanks
Did it run fine when you parked it? When is the last time it ran? How was it stored? I'd start with gas and plugs too but I don't have much info either. No engine codes? Battery OK?
Anyone from Tugg Hill area or Old Forge have a report??? Its snowing there now but I'm thinking about heading up over the weekend and wanna know what the trails are like ahead of time..
Western NY
Parts ouside of Buffalo has over 2 feet of heavy snow. Looked like late January in the parking lots. Closed the interstate for for two days we had so much snow and cars stuck on it. They were asking for snowmobilers to go get people out of their cars. Unfortunately the trails...
What happened first?? Well I had it revalved by Bruce @ Pioneer last fall. All four shocks actually, reason for better stutter bump and I was bottoming BAD in the rear. Much better however I was bottoming in the center to much last winter but is that a result of the revalve being too stiff...
That is sweet looking. Check out cubby's customs stuff. Has some well done Yammi's and has some good know how on who to do it all. Chromes plastic, polishing, lighting and everything. Good luck..
I was taking out my skid last night because I wanted to re valve my center shock again since I was bottoming a little to frequently. In the preoccess, my front pivot arm was snapped in half just to the left of my center shock attachment point. It was a holy S$^t moment! This happen to anyone...
