I finally finished up the backcountry track change as well today. Along with 20t top gear, and oft relocator install..definitely a good feeling to have it all put together again! And this site helped out a bunch, very helpful group here.

Yep had the washer on the one side, but the other side (closest to motor) was the one missing.

Ive got the chaincase almost fully together but there is a large plate washer i cant figure out where it goes. Can anyone help?

Ah okay..do you know roughly what point that it should drop in? Should the cover be right near the chain?

Also, if i remove the bolt from one side completely, should i be able to get the other side out easily?

Ah, yes i have the xtx. Im not exaclty sure how to put pressure on that pivot arm? Any ideas? Thanks alot for the help

There are no nuts for the front, just a bolt that goes through thetunnel into a bar which is part of the skid

Ive got both sides loose on the front, but one side just keeps spinning??

Need some help here..i am following ulmers track change guide, but having issues taking the bolts for the skid (closest to the motor) out..ive got the back one out and the track is completely loosened. Thanks guys

Just curious when this bearing needs to be removed? When taking out the drive axle?
