I love my split rails in any condition except soft powder. They do sink but working on a fix for that. As for everything else they are amazing. So much so that I bought a second pair. Worth every penny. Shane.

Yes the tank does have to come off. It's very simple. The hardest part I the whole thing is taking the manifold off. Let me know when/if you decide to do it and I walk you through step by step. Shane.

If you have all the stock parts it's a couple hour job. Remove seat, gas tank heat shield and exhaust. There is a crossmember that I had to remove to install mine. It rivets to the seat mount to hold the exhaust in place. If you need help with it you can email or call me. I have had mine on and...

At least you can get propane. Where I live we couldn't even get it for a couple of weeks. When it come it was at $7.10 a gallon. I shut my house down for a couple of weeks( thank goodness for a traveling job). Ill open back up when it becomes affordable. Shane.

I agree. I was a bit nervous going from my apex to my nytro. I decided to keep my apex knowing my son would be riding in a couple of years. I too like the nytro over my apex. Now I have nytros in the stable and no apex. It will take a lot for me to get rid of it.

The viper flap sticks out a lot more than stock. Not saying it won't get pulled under but should be no worse than the factory flap

I was hit last year by another sled. Long story short is I had $3500 in damage to my sled. I took a direct hit on the right spindle and it didnt break. It left a couple of pretty big dents in it but I still ride with it with no issues

I also run split rails on both my nytros. The phrase handles like its on rails is not an understatement. Best money I have spent on my sleds. Shane

You are correct. If you don't block the hole snow will come through. I went for a little ride I the ditch and when I was done my light was covered in snow. Shane.
