The fuse at the starter solenoid is for the fuel pump. The Red/Green wire should have 12 volts. You can back probe it to check. Do the volt test while you have the system calling for power.

The Doo P-drive has six rollers, three for each direction of pressure. They also designed them with angles so that centrifugal force will keep them snug enough to prevent noise and play. Shimming not necessary.

What I mean is when testing voltage at the pump plug you should use that ground at that plug,
Also a good idea to have a bit of amperage load.

I think the Phazers pull power there for the fuel injection like most other Yamaha models.
