What I mean is when testing voltage at the pump plug you should use that ground at that plug,
Also a good idea to have a bit of amperage load.
Have you inspected the plug at the starter solenoid?
I think the Phazers pull power there for the fuel injection like most other Yamaha models.
What error codes are on display?

I haven't looked at the starter solenoid plug, would have to find that. But the starter will crank, just no fuel pump operation and I know the fuel pump is ok now. I'm getting a code 81/heated grip flashing, that is the only code flashing.
