Complete bummer, Yamaha is responsible for my passion for the sport and modifying sleds. No two stroke would give me 300+ hp all day long on 91 fuel for thousands of miles. Hopefully the thundercat keeps going for many years.

It has nothing to do with driving miss daisy, weight distribution is huge on sleds and I have seen this same thing where the sled feels more playful with weight on the back acting like a fulcrum pivot and helping to lift the front end. Too much it will understeer but a little more and it gets...

Would titanium be a bad choice of material? I know its hard and brittle so torsional stress may not be the best fit. I just want the weight reduction. 7075 is out of the question. I am curious what the actual metal is. I have a spare sitting on the shelf, can I send it anywhere to find out?

Yes you adjust the cam timing for the extra thickness. I wasn't aware of any slotting needed I thought there was enough factory adjustment but I didn't do it myself. @Srxspec did both of mine.

How many miles on it? I am doing the same thing on BOB and the orange flame this summer but you are much faster :)

I think @Srxspec could maybe talk Micro Belmont to make more HD shafts if we had like 10 or so. I have two of them as spares but they are really durable and hold up to boosted power amazingly well. They drop in no other mods needed.

Made some progress on the exhaust and wastegate I added a turn down so it fit my cut tunnel better, now ALL the exhaust it being forced into the tunnel. That should be the fix to the last of my problems that I had. I think I will go through the chainchase, bearings, ZX2, all need a maint...

All the troubles I had on my Winder it makes me cringe they are bolting the wastegates shut LOL. I keep asking in the comments what fuel they are using but no response, must be some very high octane stuff!
