LOL . me thinks your dad govern your sleds without telling you;). those 600 sleds can go faster the 60 or 70 mph. that's basically the way i did it with my 2 boys. It's all good just as long as they know to respect the sled and sounds like you did. ;)!
my kids used the formula until they were 15 or so, so i got at least 6 to 7 years out of it.
Phazer would work well for sure
Just an FYI, You might already be thinking about this but make sure you have communicators when your trail riding. They're a great piece of mind, especially when your...
What you are thinking of doing is exactly what i'd do or did. Are you looking at a 4 stroke phazer?
when my kids were that small (approx 10 years ago) i bought a good used 1998 formula 380, even had electric start and a tether. Love those little 380's leafblowers, they run great and last...
LOL, i have to agree with you. I would think unless your head has been in the sand that everyone now knows that Sidewinder means Turbo, just like everyone knows what an SRX is ;)!
WOW :o|. LOL, Funny thing is by your signature you're still riding those overweight sleds thou . Do yourself a favor and buy or try a newer Apex with the OLD TECH exup and EPS for a day, you will see how much better it is overall compared to the RX1.
:bore:if you're not happy then...
Up Michigan Rider said "More crap to go wrong in the long term"
It's a shock and it's not electronic it just lets the oil flow from one side to the other. maintenance & service wouldn't be any different then any other shock. I would think it would work quit well, love to take one for a ride and...
i just checked kijiji and there's a guy in Sudbury wanting $475 for a whole rear suspension with the ohlins in it. it's a 136" but i would buy it and sell the rest of the suspension to get some of your money back. not sure if the shock is good or not but it's in your back yard.
just measure the...
just find a used KYB shock for the rear and throw that into it to finish the season. Should be a ton of parts availble on kijiji or try Total Recreation in the Barrie area or Bent Toys in North Bay
Glad you like your Apex.
LOL, it's not a jet ski so i don't run mine across water. I've never had a problem with belts or anything else. just need to do regular maintenance especially checking the exhaust gaskets and Exup.
just keep squawking. like the old saying goes , squeaky wheel gets the grease.
there's a reason they did an update/recall on the 2017 and now a new shock for 2018
send it to either shock tec in Guelph, Ontario or star suspension in Quebec to get them rebuilt. no need to send them to the USA. cost you an arm and a leg dealing with the border plus the US exchange
