Was at the dealers today and seen a 11 apex with a custom air ride system, the guy traded for a viper, the apex had what looked like air bag rear suspension which you could raise or lower by a remote switch and gage, this was mounted just above the left side foot well, the front shocks looked like a shock with a air bag around it you adjusted ride hight much the same as the fox shock, this guy spent around $4000 for this set up and couldn't get it to work right for him, first time ever seeing a set up like that.

Could be, I noticed that the tunnel rear skid bolts had to be relocated and drilled out almost like a different skid altogether, kinda looked jury rigged to memore then likely an M20 air wave suspension with a compressor

Northernsledder has the M20 Airwave/Assault front shock setup in his Apex XTX. I've ridden it and it's unreal how well it works. And yes, it's a fairly complicated install. If that guy couldn't get it to ride well, it was installed improperly in my opinion. With the onboard compressor we changed the whole setup of the suspension for my 300+ lbs. in a few minutes. Completely eliminated 6-8 inch stutters.

Yes it should ride much better but not sure if its a m20, he bought it of the internet it could be a spin off from the m20, you would think the bolts would line up with the factory holes on the skid if it was a true m20 for a Apex, he was getting major kick back from this set up and would completely flatten out at times and was hurting his back, he just couldn't dial it in no matter what changes he did, i'm sorry now I didn't have my phone at the time to snap a few pictures

It wouldn't go in the existing Apex mounts. New brackets and hole locations are required to install this setup.

My apex is all airwave equip ... not just because its mine but it is one of the best riding sleds I have ever thrown a leg over in my 42 yrs of sledding. Its what is keeping me on my what is to be considered a "dated" apex. Worth every dam penny and I have spent a few on sleds in 42 yrs....

After looking on the M20 airwave site I believe this is what's on this apex I was looking at in at my dealer, to bad he couldn't get it working for him sounds like a lot of happy riders with this setup.
