i have baked my bushings with graphit on them, several coats. on steel shaft make sure you emry cloth it to a polishthen put a rubber o ring on either side between shock and spacer.
...think of a wooden wedge door stop ,the steeper the angel the less wedge force you would have under a door say.... the shallower the angle and the more you jam that wood wedge under a door the tighter it gets. soo in a helix, the shallower angle jams on the belt more and also wraps the...
that is yamaha's factory way of measuring, but when your dealing with dif diameter and diff thickness of sheaves as well if aftermarket clutch sits further on snub... etc... soo the factory way doesnt wrk, this is where i came up with peek to peek as it eliminates all diameters and thickness...
The CL multiplier will only add or subtract fuel to achieve the desired preset AFR at any given tps position/rpm, the adjustable fuel regulator will help a little but your injectors will only flow a max amount of fuel based on the pulse width.... for it to be adding that much fuel from what the...
Why is you CLP at 124.8, this indicates you need your tune adjusted.... for a perfect tune, the closed loop should only have to make minimal changes. in my eyes you should richen it up on the tune and have the CLFM change allot less.... just a thought for you.
shift as quick as you can while maintaining grip and RPM is the goal.... but most times when you shift too quickly it lowers you rpm below HP peek.... there is a balance to be achieved.... years ago we used to use a track dyno and change one item at a time to record what each change did for...
more engine load and faster up shift.... soo as an example....the steeper (higher angle) the ramp is the easier the clutch's will open loading engine dwn lowering rpm, also less grip on belt....
Yamaha is @1mm narrower soo xs825 is 52 peek to peek with TAPP and BOSS mine with xs829 was 53 -53.5 TAPP/BOSS/STM... this is all based off perfect aligned STOCK clutches,.... offset using old method =1.530, keeping all this equal and accounting for sheave thickness differences.... this is...
soo heres the measurements i had for PERFECT alignment with stock clutches after using team alignment bar then converging to standard measuremnet bar
From inner sheave @ hub of primary to the outter machined surface of BOSS (old method of measuring)= 1"530=@39mm 0r 52.5mm peek to peek team...
Now that being said, ive got an 8.4" primary and 11.25 sec diameter.... with the taper extending out a little further from centre line.... this might account for the extra 1-2mm, is your aleo for a xs825 yamaha belt... because it would measure with my bigger set up 52mm, it your 3 arm is 8"and...
i got the 25 top 7/8 931075-10 venom nd pressed the brass into it, and the 3/4 45tooth 931076-008 from venom and 7/8 hyvo chain from STM...90 pitch for 184.00 gears are $60-70.00 at venom
total 320-350.00 for total pkg ... way cheaper
soo i like to measure from inside peek of primary sheave where belt rides to outer peek of secondary sheave where belt rides, this eliminates sheave thickness variances amongst different clutch manufacturers..... if you run a XS825 belt, its 52-52.5mm peek to peek, for xs829/827 belt its...
if you have a TAPP that is shimed for yamaha belt, the offset from peek of inner sheave of TAPP to peek of outter sheave (where belt rides) of BOSS is 52.5mm... if you are using a XS829/827 belt... then offset is 53.5mm ....measuring this way eliminates the variance's in sheave thickness from...
