What's everyone running for oil with tune?

Good info here guys. Thanks. How much oil is needed for the change? And I'm assuming the Yamaha filter is the one of Choice?

What's everyone running for oil with tune?

Got EVO stage 4 tune. Curious as what the consensus is? Always ran Amsoil 0-40 Full Synthetic in my Apex and RX-1 Turbos with good luck.

Advice of mods and who to buy from

I agree wholeheartedly. For me, the EVO Stage 4 has been flawless, and I'm hearing the same for other vendors here.

    Plasti-dip side panels

I think that would be cool. I used vinyl to cover all my grey.

Hypersports and Speedwerx also have tunes.

Poll: Whose tune are you running?

That's fair, but I guess what I'm getting at is if a guy is less than 15 pounds, on 91 have you heard of failures? Don't need names, just curious.

Poll: Whose tune are you running?

Yes that makes perfect sense. Mine was one of your earlier tunes which actually outperformed the newer tune on my buds 1100. I was always happy with it but that light sure makes a guy nervous. I think you do a great job and are very approachable, and for a customer what else could a guy want...

Poll: Whose tune are you running?

EVO Stage 4. I also researched as much as I could before I bought. I really liked there AFR numbers at max boost. I ran TD 4 Stage on my 1100T which worked well but would thrown knock light with very high quality fuel on powertral setting. Also have a bud with same tune on his 1100 and his is...

    Studding consensus?

This is not your ordinary turbo sled. It comes on way faster than the cat zook twins. I personally think 3 per row is light but I like getting out of the hole probably more than anything. Remember the old rule of thumb, 1 stud per HP.

    Studding consensus?

No. The only thing you need to be aware of is when you run this long of stud to stay out of the center 3.5" of track with studs. There's a vent at the front of the tunnel that projects downward that you would surely shred up if you studded that section of track.

    Studding consensus?

Yes I absolutely love it. The concensus is the 129 models transfer way easier that longer models. I love to lake race and aggressive trail ride and to me the 129 was to perfect fit. I have no regrets.

    Studding consensus?

    1.64 length. 180 of them. It's a 2.86 pitch so only 45 paddles on the 129" track
