There's going to be a few fast sleds around here this winter, and also some Ski-doos. It is time for track hardware.

I've read through the posts from last season on the subject; would like to hear what worked well, or what you would change if doing it again. I'm heading down to Haydays this weekend to part ways with some $. Help me spend my money...

Those look like the old Roetin studs. I always liked those.

What size are those studs?? 192 of them?

1.64 length. 180 of them. It's a 2.86 pitch so only 45 paddles on the 129" track
Are you happy with the 129" track? I've ordered the 18 RTX LE and am being tortured with second thoughts, as I'm coming from a 17 Doo Renegade 137" track.... Also, I'm moving to Manitouwadge in October- different trails, conditions and season than I was purchasing the RTX LE for here in Muskoka.

Is there any sign of scratches in the tunnel from the 1.64" studs? I'm running the Warthog 1.45". I wanted to go longer, but I changed my mind upon placing the order.

Yes I absolutely love it. The concensus is the 129 models transfer way easier that longer models. I love to lake race and aggressive trail ride and to me the 129 was to perfect fit. I have no regrets.

No. The only thing you need to be aware of is when you run this long of stud to stay out of the center 3.5" of track with studs. There's a vent at the front of the tunnel that projects downward that you would surely shred up if you studded that section of track.

So what's everyone's success with 3 a row? Hook up at all on ice? I know turbo sleds don't come on as hard as a 2 stroke so was hoping that would keep track under it with little less steel in the track
