    secondary coil bind/pocket depth

Hi Guys, have had a few inquiries lately about coil binding on the secondary, and from a quick browse of the forum I see it mentioned. It is probably important to remember that everyone here is sincerely trying to help get good info to fellow users on a new model sled with a new clutch. During...

    Sidewinder Helix

Hi Pete, I know some use the Cat secondary springs in there (some people buy our cat springs to use in Yamaha models), however, as you may know they kind of fit funny and they are not relevant to other Yamaha wrap degrees, etc. (actually, all springs seem a bit funny fit in these to those...

    Sidewinder Helix

Hi Newtron. Sorry for the delay. We have had a lot of inquiries and people waiting for these. The YSR helixes were just added to the Dalton website on Friday ( to let people know we are done and they are being produced) and has all still been a bit "tentative". We are still fine tuning the...

    flat spot on driven roller

regarding the rollers we have heard of numerous reports of some flat spots. most dont see it hurting anything right away, i expect they will upgrade them...have seen it before on other brands of sleds and atv models ( skidoo 1200, some early cats, etc. It probably wont hurt much to go ride it...

    Sidewinder Helix

Hi Bleedyamaha, we do not do "kits" or set ups, rather we supply components to the companies that do (or people and shops who know what they want to test), but with the new helixes just coming out now, I'm sure lots more testing will be done to develop the more common "zone" of helixes that are...

Anyone try the Curve XS Skis with the Leading Edge option?

It is not always just ice,but sometimes hard groomed trails that the ski can't do much because it is very hard snow, but you are probably correct, myself I don't use the LE,but some people are very sensitive to darting and ride a lot in that type of condition. Don't forget the $479 Canadian...

Anyone try the Curve XS Skis with the Leading Edge option?

We are a clutch component company. The reason we are handling these skis here in Canada is because we believe in them. We have tested many other aftermarket skis on our demo sled models.... most have varying degrees of deeper keels...some you need to be a gorrilla to turn them, others seem to...

Anyone try the Curve XS Skis with the Leading Edge option?

The guys at curve have indicated to me that being previous snocross racers and doing so much testing and design time with skis, that they didn't like the handling in many situations with dual runners, such as -spreading the weight out over a double parallel surface for less penetrating bite...

Anyone try the Curve XS Skis with the Leading Edge option?

High taxes in Maritimes! The price of these skis is similar to C&A 's and others...the LE is a optional add on,...and nope,it is not necessary for all. When the ski is down in the snow, it is in the snow and doing its job,...but similarly to the reason some run dually carbide runners...
