I have the Klim Arctic GTX with the Boa system. This is my third pair of Klim boots, and only because my second set were destroyed by MICE! I stopped bringing a boot dryer after my third trip with my origina pair. My feet SWEAT and they are always dry at the end of the day. Upgraded to Arctic...
I have an 11 Apex with a full Fast M20 suspension setup. Sled is modified for my style of riding. I also own "2008" Nytro. Race team front end, tunnel and a Cat 141 rear suspension., WRP seat , OFT relocate and a 3" Lake Effect riser. I love everything about my Nytro with the exception of the...
Bolt it in and just keep an eye on your tunnel protection. Mine collapsed and had to be repaired, but that wouldn't stop me from putting a 1.5 or 1.6 track in it. You'll REALLY notice the difference!! I'm honing in on nearly 30,000 miles with 1.5 tracks in my sleds.
Yamaha Dumbo ears and Rocstoyz Yamaheater. Put the bars on full nuclear until I feel heat and then adjust for comfort. I wear Klim thin palmed leather gloves and and keep a long gauntlet thicker pair in the heater in the trunk. Tested to -35 LOL!!
No MAGIC, pulling shocks for refresh, new bearings and slides in the skid, and adding wheels to reduce slide wear. Basically new going back in after harvest.
I stayed at Togowtee Mountain Lodge in 2009. Not many places for fuel and all rental machines had to be returned by 4:30 each day. Yellowstone is ridden by permit holder only with Best Available Technology sleds. This meant Phazers when I was there. I'll never forget my experiences there. Truly...
I'd like to know as well. My Powderhounds are about worn out. 2 different Apex and now my Nytro. Still a great performing ski, just wondering if the 8" are better.
I've got MAJOR miles on 2 different sleds with the Crossover 1.5. When we installed the Airwave M20 in my XTX I went with the 136 Intense 1.5. My personal opinion is the 1.5 lug is optimal if you don't run studs. Closing in on 20,000 + miles with a 1.5. I have a Nytro with the Backcountry 1.75...
What maim said, and I'm at +5 on 2 sleds. WRP seat on my 11 and old school Boss Hirise Flattop on the other. Zero issue with either in close to 20,000 miles.
