Likely rust on the valves. Been more than one or two of those reported here. Try some Yamaha Ring Free, if they still make it, or even the new EngineMed RX product line. I've been using the FuelMed RX instead of Seafoam for a while now. Works BETTER than Seafoam.
1.25 Ripsaw II, 1.5 Crossover , and the 1.75 Backcountry are all 144 tracks that I have run with no issues on trail. LOTSA miles on the Crossover having used it on my Attak, Apex and Nytro. My favorite track for sure of the 3 for all around use. Ripsaw lasted 1 trip on the Apex and came off for...
Thought you'd run off and bought a Pooolaris or something! Oh, things are DEFINITELY different than when you left. But, the basic values we've worked to build are still here. Guys helping each other to fix and refine the tools we use for our passion. Glad your back!
Humph, my +5 is perfect. Of course, I'm 6'3" lol! I've had many people comment on mine... until they ride it. At the original TY Viper demo ride the rep wouldn't give my sled up. Even took pictures of my underhood mods to use all stock cables and wiring.
I have rolled the throttle bracket downward to alleviate this on my Apex and my wife's Venture. Remove the throttle cable at the throttle lever, loosen the throttle assembly and rotate it downwards. Reattach the throttle cable going under the handlebar. I've adjusted it so the lever is in the...
2006-209 Apex, 121", Attak/LTX 136" are fuel injected and with reasonable investment in shock revaluing can be made to ride very well. My recommendation would be a 136". Easily found in your price range.
Likely lost prime to the oil pump. I've never had this issue, but remember others having this happen. I'll move your post to the Nytro forum where you'll get more advice,
I've owned a Weber Performer for almost 20 yrs. Just replaced the grill and igniter last season. Uses propane to start your charcoal. Has a nice prep table, hooks for hanging your utensils, and a hopper for charcoal storage. You can find them online for around$400.
Ok, my 11 has NEVER started as well as my 06, even with an Ulmer mapped PCV. The ONLY way it starts consistently is to hold the key on until,it is RUNNING. For 9'yrs this has been my biggest gripe with the way this sled runs. Idle surges up and down. I just ignore it. And if it's really cold...
Use the regular search box at the top of this page. Enter Jonlafon 1, read results. Or, just go in the Sidewinder forums and start looking. Im at work and usung my phone.
DON'T use a Skinz bag unless you want everything in it soaked. I use the Yamaha combination bags and ziplock bags with the air squished out of them. I've even put a pair of slip on shoes and an extra pair of jeans in the nose of the sled. I also run full time with a Yamaha tank bag for extra...
Ok, I am no where near as well versed as Redbeard on the in's and out's of Fast suspensions, but I CAN give you my experience and opinion. To TRULY utilize the broad range of these air suspended suspension, an onboard adjustable on the fly system is a must! This season I was really able to put...
