I am researching options for my wife who is having real issues with throttle thumb. I know this must be something others have run into so I am asking for your recommendations. What do you have, what works, what doesn't, whatever. Thanks.

I have rolled the throttle bracket downward to alleviate this on my Apex and my wife's Venture. Remove the throttle cable at the throttle lever, loosen the throttle assembly and rotate it downwards. Reattach the throttle cable going under the handlebar. I've adjusted it so the lever is in the crotch of your thumb making the movement more of a squeeze than a push.

Sportech Thumb Thing. Had one gave it to my Sister in Law. After I got my Wife an efi sled.
I haven't tried this but sure think about it everytime my right hand loses feeling. What about a goldfinger so you could trade off to the left side, while shaking off your right hand, without missing a beat.
There was a company called NCI that offered "Thumb Drive". It is an ATV style thumb throttle. Completely adjustable for varying driving styles ( full throttle or part throttle riders)
Position or the lever allows more hand on the grip and less pressure for the thumb to push.
Two problems with this product.
1. In cold conditions I found that not enough heat was transferred to the thumb
2. NCI is not around anymore making these.
Possible solution? BoP takes a look at this and makes a unit similar to "Thumb Drive"
I have a unit sitting in my tool box and it will sit there until I can come up with a good fix for the heat issue. I loved using this but at -20c and colder I could not handle freezing my thumb.

Smoothride has one on his sled, he seems to have good things to say about it, including bummed no longer available so moved it to his Viper

Thanks for all of the responses guys. I have a Goldfinger on my new sled and it can be used exactly as you describe 1780xtx. That said the Goldfinger stands off the bar too far for small hands. Also it is very hard to be smooth with it. I use it as you suggested but it is not ideal.
It would be great if BoP picked up on this one.
