    Electrical Question #1

Looking at the nose of the sled from the front is the voltage regulator the black thing on the left? The ECU is the silver thing on the right?

    Electrical Question #1

I admit that the multi-meter that I used is about one level above a piece of junk. Sometimes when I measure it it's .08 and then another time it's .11 and then another time it's .13. Can you show me where the ECU and voltage regulator plugs are somehow?

    Yamaha Cutting Production for 2019

No marketing = "out of sight = out of mind" to the general snowmobiling public. This board contains mostly diehard, loyal, Yamaha riders and represents a small amount of the total Yamaha riders in North America and Europe. Based on this, I think they are done.

    Electrical Question #1

The picture is of course a multimeter. What I was measuring was the current draw with everything off and all fuses pulled. I had one multimeter lead on the negative cable and the other multimeter lead on the negative post of the battery. Can anybody tell me what the reading is and is this OK...

    Electrical Question #2

Question is on my 2014 Vector LTX. If you look at the picture, you see the green and the pink'ish fuse. One is a 30A and the other is a 40A. Don't remember which is which and I'm too lazy and tires to go downstairs and look. The picture was taken from the (sitting on the sled) left side of...

    05 Vector Issue

Don't bother trying to clean it. Just replace it....they're cheap.

05 venture stator in terrible state.

There have been many writeups over the years on this forum what people went though to change it. Let the search function on this site be your friend. What seems to be a common thread is to only use an OEM Yamaha stator as the replacement. Aftermarket stators, just like the starters, don't...

    First car

I kid you not, this is what my first cal (1972 Impala 4dr) looked like when I was done with it in 1977. BUT, imagine Cragar 5 spoke rims instead of the ones in this picture and mine was Candy Apple Red. Had a Pioneer Supertuner w/8-track in it with 4 speakers powered by a 50w amp. 350ci...

    Yamaha Cutting Production for 2019

With all due respect, related to #5, if you think Textron is going to enter into a deal that allows Yamaha to make a lot of money, you are not in tune with what happens in the global business world.

Any woodworkers or cabinet makers here?

Thanks for the lead....I'll give them a call. I like riding down that way.....farther SW too. Where we went that one time with Vlad.

Any woodworkers or cabinet makers here?

I need a 9" x 12" x 1/2" (approx dimensions) piece of finished soft maple to cover up an access hole that I made. I would mail you a piece of the molding I took off so you could copy the finish (satin poly?). I'll provide a drawing of the piece and where the 4 ea. mount holes need to be. The...

HID's are easy on your sled. Many people like Rockmeister's plug and play setup (a little spendy IMO). I have DDM Tuning HID's in 2 sleds and 2 vehicles. 55 watt, 5000K with the upgraded ballasts.

    HID kit installed

Well I have will do most anything to prevent having a lighting issue especially on my vehicles. A few bucks for a better ballast was easy to justify. I to started with the 4300K and like the 5000k better. Like I told him it's his money and he can spend it how he wants. As 10 people on this form...
