I was out today the the first rip of the year and I noticed on my MCX display that my airfuel was very sporadic? It would flicker very fast from 15.7 to 14.9 at idle and once warmed up with a few passes down the field it never changed period. It just kept flickering back and fourth and it did...
I always spin the track mutliple times before veryfing anything. I even check again once I have tightened the axle bolt too! But the question is it when my track is centered why it is way tighter under the center of the right rail compare to the center of the left rail but everything is...
ya the axle is way loose and I am glad to hear your bolts are not equal in length when properly adjusted? Maybe this is somewhat normal on the 144 skid? My buddy has a shorty and the bolts have equal amount of thread showing and that's what made my panic
Ok....great tips! The track is 100% sitting properly on the drivers but the rear axle shaft could be a little bent but never landed on the rear axle? Something is weird?????
OK..just had the skid out and replaced idlers, sliders etc... and all went well until I had to adjust the track? The issue is that when the track is properly centered and adjusted two thing are not right? One is that I am showing almost double the threads on one adjuster and the track is much...
Ok I have a MCX240 Nytro that runs very well with the exception that when I turn it off after running for more then 10 plus minutes it will not start up until I let it cool down? I do know that it can be a relay issue but It always started back up one I let it sit for 5-10 minutes so I never...
Wow!!! This almost unheard of with a mcx kit? Do you have a MCX display and if so was their a possible lean condition? Did you have any blow-by coming out the catch can outlet at anytime? Makes you wonder how it could run perfect then all of a sudden die and all three cyl have the same amount...
I am looking at replacing my complete seat with a more modern and slightly taller seat that will work with my MCX 240 rear mount for my Nytro? Any suggestions or feedback? I like the "skinz" seat but will it work?
Thanks!
OK since I am totally new to the Yamaha scene and lovin every minute of it(previous ski doo fan) I recently had time to play with my XTX 240 Turbo and all I can say is wow!! Now, I am a flatlander but what I do know is clutching is clutching at sea level or not? A couple of things to mention...
Thanks for all the great responses. Looks like I will be leaving in my front exchangers. I really want to try out that new track but like I said in my above post we have less then 1 inch of total snow fall and go figure I live in Northern Ontario LOL????? Oh wait I think I see a snow flake...
I did a little research and I cannot seem to find anyone that can say"ya I have one and it does not rub"? I want to keep the exchangers in since I will run two seperate tracks re: one studded and 1/4 and soon the 1.5 crossover that I have laying on the garage floor. Please let me know thank you!
My opinion is that if it was set-up for high elevation it would over rev due to lighter clutch calibration?
My MCX nytro does not engage very high either and if it did you would just spin like crazy. They have alot of bottom end torque therfore, no real need to have high engagment?
My...
I just had a 240 kit installed by a reputable dealer and I am pretty sure he would have changed the plugs? But just in case I am gonna double check it tomorrow but if they should have been chaged what # would I look for?
Thanks!
