I did a little research and I cannot seem to find anyone that can say"ya I have one and it does not rub"? I want to keep the exchangers in since I will run two seperate tracks re: one studded and 1/4 and soon the 1.5 crossover that I have laying on the garage floor. Please let me know thank you!

I have a 1.5 in my 08 nytro and it is very close but will work just fine.

I've had mine in for 350 miles studded up the center and have had no issues, and shows very little wear on the track where it has rubbed the protectors. With the track as tight as yammi wants it. I doubt you will see any issues. Those are not trail miles, hard ditch banging moguls. I can count only few times I bottomed out though. Thanks to HyGear for that. Once the track was in, it looks like 3/8" in the front from the protectors. But 2+" from heat exchanger. Mine gets thawed out and checked over after each ride and I really don't want to take those out if at all possible.

Thanks for all the great responses. Looks like I will be leaving in my front exchangers. I really want to try out that new track but like I said in my above post we have less then 1 inch of total snow fall and go figure I live in Northern Ontario LOL????? Oh wait I think I see a snow flake falling from the sky.....not!

How do you like the crossover track on the xtx?

So far so good with the crossover (400 miles on it). It corners as good as the ripsaw and gives a much better bite in the powder. Worth the change IMO.

What do you mean as corners as good. As in it has the same side bite as the ripsaw? or in some other way?

It side bites as well as the ripsaw. I wish I could compare to the others also, but only have experience with these 2 tracks.
