finally got out on my apex turbo and love it, i got it from alberta and am runinng it in new brunswick... so im told i have to send my mcxpress box to a dealer or to mcx themselves and have it remapped for the difference in altitude... also while i was out running it the air fuel ratio was around 13+/- a little when going slow through some narrow and not very good trails, but when i got out on some straights and when i was playing it would drop to about 11-11.5 are those numbers about where they should be?? and finally, my engagement is about 3000rpm and the top rpm is only about 10,000-10200, could this be because of a worn out primary spring? im thinking i would like to get my rpm up to high 10's and the engagement up closer to 4000
thanks alot for any input

My opinion is that if it was set-up for high elevation it would over rev due to lighter clutch calibration?

My MCX nytro does not engage very high either and if it did you would just spin like crazy. They have alot of bottom end torque therfore, no real need to have high engagment?

My A/F is about the same as yours except I run 12/12.5 at WOT. Looks ike you might need to buy a MCX display and make some fine adjustments VIA your laptop. Also I do know that some kits are made for high elevation and some for low? Good luck!

good info, my bigger problem is the top rpm is about 600 lower then i would like to have, which is going to make a big difference on the top end, and i think the clutch spring may be wore out, because like you said a sled set up for higher elevation should over rev at sea level... but its under-reving... any idea on how much the mcx programming box is i dont know what they call it for sure but i know which one you mean...
