    My first updated fox shock was first changed at 4,600 miles. The second one lasted 375 miles. the third one lasted 334 miles. I also keep the weight off the suspension after every ride & also in the summer for storage.

    I have the new updated Fox shock on mine . I like the way it rides but it has gone bad 3 times already in 5,200 miles. I am now on my 4th. shock. I looked on their website but that is a very expensive shock. I can't figure out why that shock cost so much.

    I thought Fox shocks were a reliable company that made quality shocks. I understand what you are saying but this happen 3 times already. Let me tell you it is a pain in the as$ trying to move this sled when it happens. Need a sheet of hard plastic or a plastic sled under the track to move it.

    This has nothing to do with the price of the apex, but my 2018 Vector has the upgraded shock and it has been replaced 3 times in about 5,200 miles. Once at 4,500 miles and then it only lasted 375 miles and the next new shock lasted 334 miles. Almost afraid to drive it any more.

    Question about wheel change

    That spacer looks like the spacer that goes between the inner frame and rear upper large wheels on your suspension. It slides on your upper rear out bound shaft. there is one on each side.

    And cover any painted surfaces up with a lot of rags. Brake fluid will eat the paint right up.
