i had no snow build up under the hood, but i too thought to start with TORS, i will adjust my cable (if out of spec) then go for a rip to see if it acts up again....i hate trying to figure something out when it only happens intermittently
Was riding today -20C with 4" fresh powder on thin base. First 40kms went flawless (except my goggles frosting over, but thats another topic). Then i notice a real bad stumble/sputter when going over half throttle, seemed to only do it when i stabbed the throttle over half. Went a few more...
i bought a 06 nytro in may for $4000 with only 1000mi on it, in showroom cond., this was in north dakota, but I think you can do better, like stated above you can get a 08 leftover for almost the same price
lower pressure in front shocks to get a arms as horizontal as possible while maintaining a good ride will aid in handling...also a thicker aftermarket swaybar will flatten cornering
quickly going through my service manual this is all I can find....
make sure when you are measuring and reading the level not to screw the dipstick (sensor) in
you will need to cut your tank cover to fit the seat or get a apex tank cover. no mods to tail end, will also need to raise the bars to compensate for the seat rise
OUCH!!
good news is you didn't go through the exchanger, I too would put some hyfax on the protectors
also good news looks like you have a good amount of scratch lines with that pattern...lol
LMFAO...that was indead the worst snowmobile ride I have ever been on...funny blueballer kept blipping the throttle so I would have to hang on tighter all the time...wonder what was up with that...if i can fit my fat #*$&@ on behind a rider I am sure your wife will be fine (but maybe not fun)...
found this in the TY tech pages...hope it helps
