So I've tried to search but couldn't find much on studding my boosted 144.
I'm at 5.5lbs now, but will be going to 10lbs this season. I'm running the 144 1.25" ripsaw with an expert x.
I wanna run double backers and have about 120 1.48 new studs. I don;t think that's enough.
How many...
Wanted to stay out of the motor. I think to do it right at 10lbs one should go with pistons to remain on pump fuel. Plus I wanted to keep my mpg within reason. Thinking on going to 10lbs this season though.
When I extended my attak to a 144, I installed a gas rack in the back. I carry a...
I'm not sure here, but don't think you can use the PCIII due to this box has no way of detecting boost? I inquired on this set up a few seasons ago when I first installed my blower.
Yeap, this was it. Purrin like a tiger now. Just have the code 20 flashing, but I will take care of that next time I'm out in the shop. I think if I bypass the fuel box and then hook it back up that should clear it.
Yeap, I checked this earlier before work. The plug was hanging out. I wasn't sure if I had pulled it out when I pulled the IC to have a better look or what but it was just hanging there. I took a better look and seen some other stuff was corroded so now I'm just cleaning everything.
Thanks...
So, My sled has sat a couple years. Stage 1 Mpi blower, with bov and ulmer clutching.
When I first tried to fire her up, she wouldn't start. Pulled a plug and it was wet and black. Pulled the other 3, same. I changed them all and the sled would start but would only run with a little throttle...
Hey,
Will this thing work on an attak? Don't know if the shorter skibase makes a difference? I have a trip planed in march to the snowy range and I'm taking my 144 attak out there. Guess I better turn my boost up to 10lbs to. lol
Thanks,
Vince
Trails are open as of the 12th.
If all goes well, I will be out all day Friday riding. I will report back Saturday morning on the conditions. The temps are around or below zero so the snow will stay and they are calling a couple more inches wed.
Your gonna find that skid to hold allot of snow and is quite heavy. I would for sure NOT recommend that for mountain use.
I ran a 1.50" track with no issues with the protectors removed. You may want to have smaller drivers to insure your clearance at the front cooler.
I think them two extra...
I do not remember any names as I didn't stay in CH. It's pretty small so you should be able to find it easily enough. Probably wouldn't much matter, it's only for a nite anyway? Make sure you stop at the cliffs up there, if the day is clear it's an awesome view!
I dont get very good gas...
Heading to copper harbor from boulder junction is a nice ride.
Take 13 out of the north end of the lake ( The Hoop ) up through Twin Lakes. From 13 take 3 all the way up through Houghton. You will need 134 from 3 to head into Copper Harbor. Unless the trails have changed that is.
Plenty...
well, I see a 151 stretch in my future and cranking the boost up. Oh this more custom work to my sled to set her up for this trip is soooo disappointing.
