    EPS Conversion?

I don’t know what that is, but it’s NOT factory EPS

Setting up the ‘24 LTX-GT EPS

I'm not sure how it WOULDNT strengthen the tunnel? Its adding a second brace to it that is flat on the tunnel and sandwiches the tunnel to the caliper. The caliper only contacts the tunnel around the 3 mounting bolts and the factory thin plate on the inside would add nothing for rigidity so this...

    EPS Conversion?

Here’s a pic of wiring the connector that communicates to the power steering unit. You can tap into the diagnostic port beside chaincase OR if If you have a 2019 and never with dumbshocks, you can use the lead for the smart shocks since it’s part of all the harnesses from 2019 and up. It’s just...

Setting up the ‘24 LTX-GT EPS

I think i am more keen on the Hi-tec Mechanical driveshaft solution that adds a 2nd bearing and runs in grease. I ran the shaftsaver since new on my last sled and after 15,000kms it STILL ended up slipping and wore the shaft. I also like that the hi-tec kit strengthens the tunnel at the same time.

    EPS Conversion?

I think I will probably start another thread shortly with a pretty basic “how to”. I took some pics, although not as many as I would have liked to make it crystal clear (I’m not meticulous like Rockerdan ), but I think I can come up with something fairly straight forward. I wouldn’t say my...

    brass shift fork pads

Having used both, I would argue that the brass pads almost seem more brittle than the factory ones. I do think its a waste of money and the real fix is a better bushing in top gear. Factory pads are fine.

    EPS Conversion?

I'm almost done the install right now on my 2019, and I have to say its a real PITA! The voltage regulator needs to be moved to the front bulkhead as opposed to the right side (2 new holes drilled). And 3 holes drilled for the brackets that hold the EPS. I made a template for the holes when I...

    Tunnel rivets

I had tried regular stainless steel rivets and mine came loose again. This time I ordered the staved ones mentioned above. Hopefully they hold longer What button head screws are ppl using? Must protrude a lot and be a lot bigger

    EPS Conversion?

Yes exactly, that’s what I meant! Ok well that’s even easier in that case to wire up. So I guess the progressive speed ‘signal’ would be part of the canbus diagnostic connector (white/grey and yellow/grey)? The other 2 prong is simply for power and ground connections as you pointed out here. I...

    EPS Conversion?

@Tcat100 So for wiring , if I am understanding the wiring schematic correctly, I can use the diagnostic connector port on my 2019 sled for the two canbus wires (gray/yellow and white gray). Where does the last wire go, the red/blue?

Are these the only areas that need to be drilled out for bolts? Front of bulkhead for 2 bolts and side (2 or 3 bolts)

    Weight of EPS?

I literally just weighted the factory EPS unit with all the brackets and bolts as I will be doing this conversion. It's 11lbs 1ounce.

    EPS Conversion?

Awesome info! Just ordered the connectors. Am still not convinced the gauge is needed. There's another guy in Michigan who is doing this conversion by sourcing the same parts and is installing them for dealers apparently. He makes no mention of needing the gauge, ECU or harness. He has offered...

    EPS Conversion?

This is my issue now! I bought all the parts listed and want to avoid getting a new harness, I have a 2019. I have been unable to source those female connectors locally. Really, the 2 prong is simple, can even use blade connectors if needed as its just power and ground. Would only need one of...

    Knockout kit

For easier removal, tap it clockwise so that you have one of the 4 ears where the bolt holes in a spot that you can pry it off. Hope that makes sense?

    Knockout kit

I'd imagine less harmonics will help clutch life, both on a cat or yam primary. May also get rid of the rattle on the yam clutch? This seems like a new product, so just wondering if anybody has used it and if indeed there are benefits.

    Knockout kit

Has anybody used this yet, and who makes it? https://turbodynamics.mybigcommerce.com/arctic-cat-yam-knock-out-kit/ It says its supposed to help with harmonics and quite a bit cheaper than other vibration elimination kits (Hurricane one). Just wondering if it actually works and what the...

    Inside the QS3 Shock

I know this is an old post, but how thick is the spacer and if removed, how long with the shock center to center be?

    EPS Conversion?

The original GSE kit did have some unwanted 'play' in the steering, although that may have been fixed. The other thing with the GSE kit is that it's always active and always assisting, whereas the factory unit decreases assist with speed - hence the need to get data via the ECU. This can be good...

    EPS Conversion?

Bingo! Very excited to hear you did this, that was my thoughts exactly when looking at wiring diagrams (ECU and Gauge not needed to make it work). I ordered all these parts as well about 2 mths ago, but all on back-order for end of Nov....but happy to hear that it works as factory. I'm not in a...
