Yamaha MTX skis are a good option too.
You are about the same hight as me so I’d recommend a 2.5” riser. I have a Lake Effects one and they are really nicely made.
Regarding the power, Yamaha left a lot in the clutching. Ulmer’s kit is a good starting point
I have an Ultra Q from Skins, which was also sold as the GYRT one from Yamaha and it's quite a bit louder that stock. I like it but I don't usually ride in built up areas.
There's some photos I posted of my filter wrench here if it helps. https://ty4stroke.com/threads/phazer-k-n-oil-filter-or-yamaha-filter-wrench-info-neede.125944/
If you are having the plugs changed that is not a bad price as the seat and tank have to come off for that.
I change my filter every other year, the sleds don't generally run in a dirty environment. Oil change without a filter is easy.
I just did oil and filter on three Phazers last weekend...
You can find some decent deals on those skis sometimes as the mountian guys usual dump them right away. You just need to get the right bolts, spacers and pads. The FX Nytro Mountian skis will bolt right on.
Mine came from TracksUSA. They also had extensions.
You would have to have a bumper fabricated too. My brother is a welder and did it for me.
Cannondale is right, that would be best rollover valve and the one I would buy if I needed one.
I did the 136" Freeride and totally recommend it. I didn't do the rollover valve but did add the tether so at least if the sled rolled it would shutoff.
