Hey biyy
I was installing the oem muffler, after I found the mbrp can way too loud for me.
Looking for some advice on joining the original pipes back together.
The way I did it was to install a smaller diameter pipe inside the oem pipe securing them with a cpl screws, then placing a muffler clamp to seal the joint.
As I figured, it leaks, lol, considering making a tiny slice in each pipe too further help the muffler clamp seal or maybe try muffler tape. Although ,maybe it would make me seat warmer...
Anyone have any experience with such a job,
Tnks biiys cheers.

Try a exhaust band clamp. It wraps around the outside.

For anyone in this situation, I only have a whisper of air leakage now. What I learned was a band clamp, as advised, worked well, just remember to run yer machine to warm up the exhaust, thus making the band clamp that much more tighter. Cheers, n tnks for the suggestion Voda2000.
