blower
Its probably a belt... driven from right side (that black plastic screw covering the flywheel bolt) behind oil tank. they use it to drive mc-xpress
oil scavenging pump on their rear kits STILL VERY SKEPTIC ABOUT
BLOWERS ON THOSE ENGINES :?
air fuel gauge
No bad intension from me 4kops but that a/f gauge is real nice but,
in a car :( ... i tried one on a sled and the problem is it is unreadable
during the day (sunlight). at night it's real nice but...
i use custom made high intensity led's rectangular gauges with a
dimmer...
no go
On some of the turbo kits i made, i had to install a labyrinth like plate
in plenum to prevent airflow that blows on the slides to ''jam them
against carb. body. they would not lift when boost came on...
or you could try DOWNSIZING the jet on bender's pilot tube to
richen mixture...
no go...
you should give more details!! fuel pump? pressure? air press.in
carb bowls? what kit did you install? just installed or new problem? GIVE MORE DETAILS
blower
HEY! thats exacly what my neybor is installing on is green sled to catch
us this winter :drink: he's probably going to be sucked thru this
baby on first try :tg:
fuel pumps
very good idea SNOWFEVER ;)! IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU PROBABLY
OWNED FIRST CHOICE/ AEROCHARGER TURBO SLED (S)???? ;)!
yOU COULD DO WITHOUT THE ADTL. FUEL TANK PICK UP IF YOU 'T'
ON ONE OR BOTH OF THE STD. FUEL PICK UP LINES AND, IN THOSE
PULSATION PUMPS THERE IS REED VALVES (ONE WAY)...
bulbs
I know that yamaha says there is a 40 watts (reserve) for accessories.
We drive a fuel pump full time on turbos and no problems...
A fuel pump needs more than 40 watts :ORC
rods
SO, if i dont receive those #$%&* rods, i will call you for shure
mr. SIMONS ;)! ;)! By the way, do you sell turbo rx1 fuel tanks
separatly? if so for how much$ thanks
carbs
It should be better but manufacturers use cv. carbs. because they
have a smooter throttle response. The slides are closing :( at top end
(fact) caus' there is a vacuum drop... Racers AND turbos would
benefit of non cv. carbs for shure...
Hey guys i ordered a set of 'H' beams rods from carrillo 6 weeks
ago #$%&* . is it me or is it seems to take fffooorrreeevvveeerrrrrrr..
for them to arrive? dont know if it is always that slow but if you
plan on ordering some do it now  if you want them before the
swow MELTS :(
factory turbo
YAMAHA could easily come out with a ''factory'' turbo caus,
WE POOR SNOWMOBILERS DID ALL THE R&D ON IT! :moon:
we even did a big part of testing for them (were is our paycheck!)
The first factory turbos buyers will benefit from all this

aerocharger turbos
Yeah, we will not see them anymore .
Aerocharger, the only company that used to make self contained
lubrification turbos with VATN (variable area turbine nozzles) has
ceased production :( Those turbos were super efficient and could
be mounted vertically!) :D they did not...
overheating
I think YAMAHA sometimes sleep :drink: (engineers) remember v-max
540 and v-max 4 ? they had 3 TUNNEL exchangers plus a RADIATOR!
i think YAMAHA figures that more horspower needs LESS cooling :drink:
WAKE UP YAMAHA!!! There is no space for a radiator annymore but
they are...
cam timming
WOLFMAN, if you add a thicker head gasket, the valve timming
is going to change! unless you have ''sloted'' cam sprokets..
Its not going to change by much but it will. Like a worn-out chain,
it's lengt change (thicker head gasket = farther cam to crank distance)
