Seat Time-Belt feedback after alignment with Hurricane Tool

So on the stand, when I nail the throttle, let it slow down and nail the throttle again, the clutch is smooth as silk, trying to simulate going into a turn and out. But when I nail the throttle and brake hard (simulating going into a corner hot) and hit it again the belt chirps loud for a split...

3500 miles driveshaft and bearing smoked

Actually, everything you said only more of it. Just went through it. Keep running fluid through until you get good feedback, then use the standard bleed method fro as long as it takes until rock hard. Takes some time but does happen. If you look real close with good light there are micro...

    Clutch offset question

So Dan my belts weren't snapping. They were exploding into pieces......stock after 400 miles. So I did the rollers in secondary, rollers in primary (one of the bushings was sticking), and installed TP orange springs and TP belt adjuster. Now getting around 1,000 miles with one stint at 1,400...

    C & A skis, XPT vs XCS

I run C&A Razors. Sled steers great. When I here people say they steer hard, I don't get it. These are agressive skis but the benefit is that they allow you to relax your front end because they work so well. Have to set up sled to match the skis then they're awesome. Work well across a variety...

    Yamaha Admits Clutch Issue....Sort of.

There is an excellent article about the SRX in the fall issue of Onsnow Magazine. In addition, there is a great interview with Jaret Smith, Yamaha Snowmobile Product Planner. Kudos to OSM for asking questions we have been dealing with on this forum, including the skis. Here’s a sample response...

    Dalton clutch weights question.

Just make sure to install smallest to largest slug from the top of weight to heal as the large slug can get stuck there.
