Since you have a Super Quiet muffler Your best bet is Max 17 for extra power over powertrail or Max spool 17 if you get a 3 bar map upgrade.
Got it. Just saw your instructional video which explains everything in proper order also. Very helpful.

I also have PT with SQ, CAI and Dalton’s, I was wondering how the Max16 SM would compare, I rode a buddies with PT SM and I really liked the quieter sound and thought this tune maybe close to what I have now power wise.
I also have the flasher with bundle already.

I have some questions.
1. The Max Spool 16 can be used with stock exhaust & intake?
2. Does Max "Spool" mean it spools up quicker or sooner then Ecotrail or Powertrail?
3. What is minimum SAFE octane?

Where did you find the video?
The video isnt clear about a question I have. What is the HP for Max spool 20 with TD stock mod muffler, 3bar, and CAI?

It's spools like an SOB
I've run 91 and 93 WOT with no knock lights.

Max 16 sm is similar in power to your setup.
It runs a little higher in boost.
It runs best with a td 3bar map and blow off valve upgrade... We carry everything in stock.

Max spool 20 has not been tested a lot of stock muffler or stock mod muffler. I would say it will not run optimally. It is designed for high flow mufflers. The video isnt clear about a question I have. What is the HP for Max spool 20 with TD stock mod muffler, 3bar, and CAI?
We now have a max spool 17 smm which is very powerful. It's for the stock modified muffler and makes 17 psi + of boost.
The regular max spool 16 sm is for stock muffler and makes 16.7psi of boost

I need some answers to my questions. I currently have the TD powertrail flash Super quiet exhaust with TD cold air intake. Now with the new gauge pod package that is coming out I need a clear answer to my question. Its to my understanding that with the gauge pod upgrade if I upgraded to a bundle so i have several tunes to chose from i DON'T need the flasher. Because the tunes would be flashed into the new gauge pod package. Is this true or do i still need to buy the expensive flasher on top of everything else i mentioned? And what tunes come with the bundle? And if i upgrade later to 3bar sensor and bov which would allow me to run more powerful flashes would i have to purchase another bundle if i wanted the highest performing flashes? Also everything ive mentioned will my dealer Woodys yamaha in Topsham Maine be able to do the gauge pod upgrade along with map bundle upgrade if indeed i can purchase those items without buying the flasher? I was told the new gauge pod package takes the place of the flasher and having to use a iPad which i dont have and hate those things hope i made sense on everything i asked. Or maybe I'll be lucky and win the giveaway and I'll just buy everything and then some....thanks for any replies and TD for great products Mark

You need the flasher for the tune bundle. You get all the tunes when you buy the bundle. Since you already have a tune three is an upgrade price to get the bundle. I started out the same way you did and upgraded and it was a great decision. Ben will give you all the tunes that will be compatible with the hardware you have. Once you upgrade to the 3 bar he will release more tunes to you that are compatible. The dash flash is a standalone upgrade. Woodys from what I see on the forum are a knowledgeable dealer and can probably answer all your questions.

I think DMC is close but here us my understanding. The dash flash with a bundle doesn't require the flasher to be plugged in to choose your tunes from the dash. So, you could pay for the dash flash, then pay the bundle upgrade and be good to go. If you change something that requires your bundle to change then you will need to reflash the ECU. Since you don't have a flasher then you would either need a friend with a flasher or go back to the dealer that flashed it. There is no charge from TD for the change since you own the bundle. Your dealer will probably charge you something to flash it though. In my opinion, I would skip the dash flash and just get the tuner instead. You don't change tunes that much and you can do it from your phone. You will still get a boost reading where your hour meter is. The dash flash is nice but it's additional bling. the flasher is better money spent IMO

It's my understanding that Dash Flash has not been released yet but is due any day now. Cost is going to be an additional $349 over price of bundle. Dash has to be sent to TD for programming. Benefit is toggling between tunes on the fly utilizing the buttons on the dash. Flasher cable takes 38 seconds to change tune and need to use phone app. I think i paid about $500 for my Flasher. Advantage to Flasher Cable is it reads/clears codes and capable of data logging information.
Disadvantages of flasher cable in my opinion:
You are tooling down the rr bed and your Buddy passes you. You stop, pull out your flasher cable, turn on your phone, change program to bigger tune then take off to race again. Too late....he is another town.
