I'm of the opinion that they aren't necessary...I'm certain they are there to help with slosh in the bikes (because they lean when they turn). I've found them laying in the bottom of the float bowls on more then one occasion...I'm thinking they are not 100% ethanol proof...
Yep...the right tools make the job WAY faster. I use a cordless impact with a philips bit (for the panels) and they pop right out. It's been a huge time saver even over air tools.

Exactly...The slot on the nytro makes things WAY easier but at the end of the day how many times do you change tracks??? I think it takes about the same amount of time as an oil change....which you probably do more often than a track change lol.
I don't really see the logic here. Why would you chose to be less safe? Or worse yet try to justify the FACT that you are less safe by saying that people with studs are in some way more careless in their riding. It's like buying snow tires...it's safer.

I think for the 05 RX a simple idle bump usually fixes the problem. Those sleds aren't know for their rattling since they updated the reduction gears...
