Went out for another blast today. More snow than last week but lots of ice from the thaw during the week. I spent more time today playing around with the rear suspension. Did about 10k of ditch running with lots of big dips and some hard hits on the back end. Stock setting is fine for the small stuff but in the big stuff the rebound is to fast. I used the same section of ditch and made a few passes at 45-50 MPH to set the rebound adjuster and it has lots of adjustment. At 6 clicks harder than stock it soaked up the big hits nice. I run GYTR's on the front and they take anything you through at then.
Like Turk said, the sled is real twitchy starting off slow. It wants to get up and go NOW.
Oh yeah, hit 10'200 on the tack today.

Camp Conawango is just down the road from where the pics were taken. The road I was on goes from Hwy 63 over to Hwy 533 (Mattawa). Trail are normally groomed by late Dec.

Me and a 2011 SE we rode 155km today in the same condition that you see on the picture of SX7001.
A couple of run with GPS.
2011 stock: 174km/h
2010 LTX-GT with a old clutch setup: 167km/h
The trail was just a bit packed.

I have about 200 klics on my sled all in the fields around home. Threre is about 1 foot of snow here and it is still very light. We could use another foot and now that hunting is pretty much over it can come anytime soon.

Yup, I know that road like the back of my hand. Thank God the dude in that truck never hit the brakes. What a Rush. Gave the sled a big hug after that one. Time to grow up I think.
