Same with me. I have some issues that had to be fix right away when I got it this fall. I have some minor issues to get right. Some of the members on this forum were nice enough to give me some good advice and it is getting better. But every ride that I do with it are so much fun. It keep me...
I just remove 20 psi in the float and 20psi in the DP2 and looks like my track is getting better traction, less sliding to the side. I just did some field test. More test to come.
I hope that is all it was for problem
I fell them on hard pack snow condition like you do but it is not that bad. I could live with that. The track does get traction on theses condition. Where it does get really bad when the snow get softer due to warming condition or after a snow fall. I feel like my sled is like a tractor trying...
Your are right that I have to give more gaz to follow them. But I do feel the lack of traction at the back that is cause by the drag that is Happening in front. I feel like the sled is plowing the snow whit the ski. By doing so, my track is spinning free very often.
Thanks for your advice, I will play with it this weekend. My front strap is fully extended.
My season is almost over, our trail are getting bad over here. :(
The Sled came with Snowtrackers but they were shot. So I replace them with the Slim Jim thinking that that they would have less of an effect on the overall performance.
To me, Snowtracker look visually way more aggressive then the Slim Jim. They don’t drag has much?
Front skid arm looks intact. The front spring is almost fully compress. From what I understand, that should take the pressure off the skis.
I have 60lbs of air pressure in the float.
Any other opinion?
Ski alignment was check by Star Suspension this season. That should be good. I was told that the belt was change from the guy that I bought it. But I have to check that. Every time that I take off, there is like a sleeping noise that come at the engagement point. My friend that tried it said...
I just got back from a weekend trip with some of my friends.
When on that trip I discover that I have the worst fuel millages. Of all the sled that were with me. Ex. MXZ 850, Renagade 900 ace, Venture, Sidewinder with engin mods, Renagade 1200. Of all those sled, I was getting the worst fuel...
I had to cut off mine and replace them by new one. I tried to heat them and hammer away. That did not work. They were just bounded by the rust.
Good luck.
I am looking for 2 small LED pod light to give it a try.
Change of subject, I was going to replace my head light with LED units last night. But when I removed the head light cover, I realized that there is probably not enough room to fit them. They would get in contact with those cables that...
Thanks for the tech info ATV Pro, electricity is not something that I am good at. I heard of auxbeam on You Tube product reviews. What I am thinking is making 2 supports brackets that would bolt on top of the shock mount. That should not move at all and I should be able to get the electrical...
When it comes to aux light, I only trust two brands, Rigid and Baja Desing. I had a bad experience on my truck and I prefer buying good quality product. I Am now running a Rigid light bar on my truck. No trouble at all. The Baja Desing Squadron sport that I am running on my dirt bike is just...
I have done some research and I am surprised that the price of the Tuner ski is actually cheaper than my stock one. Most reviews that I read seems like they performed really good. It also looks like I don't have to change the ski bushing or other parts.
I am considering getting a pair.
What...
Do they really spray snow at the skid slider like they advertise? If I find a good deal on Curves, I might go this way. Are you using the leading edge option on yours? Any darting issue?
They float better than the regular ski on the older model? I am looking at getting more front end lift in the powder but I don’t want to sacrifice trail handling.
