Heavy duty plate not a bad idea, hard running on -32 day on hard packed icy trail. Shelter was about 30 K from home and sled was fairly clean of snow at shelter, knocked one side clean and thought should take a picture before I clean it right off, that is ice although it looks like snow. All...
Got mine from Travis at Barnof Parts at a great price. Helps to get stuff shipped to border and can drive across so as to avoid shipping costs in Canada.
Having actually toured both plants and talked to some assembly line workers , most don't care. It is just a job to most and some have worked at both plants, most seem to do it while looking for a better job. I am starting to feel sorry for 20/80, world just passes some people by.
Does any one know the Torque value for the bolts that hold the front frame to the sled? By front frame I mean the steel tubing that holds front suspension pieces, this steel frame bolts to aluminum main frame, I can't seem to find it in online tork charts. thanks in advance
Try the Viper section, have a look at video in faq's section, Drive Train, DIY Video on Chain case Oil Change. Hope this helps as this is same chaincase as in winders

I am with the Devil, always wanted to say that!. Have had the 141 in few sleds and in current Winder. Would like to update my project Nytro to a 141 also, lighter, more modern and better that old skid could every be. Big bonus is Fox makes shocks for it or if you want Hygear makes a few options...
Connect RED starter sver wire to the large Black lead on the solenoid. The Blacck lead on the solenoid connect directly to the starter, this is the one you want.
Connect BLACK STARTER SAVER WIRE TO AN APPROPFRIATE GROUND BOLT. OOps ,cap lock. The only time led comes on is when starting sled,If...
Lilrez, I think RockerDan covers this in his build thread as I didn't take any pics. Cleaning out at end of day or before you start is great, but on -30 something icy trails it will build faster sometimes than you think. Will see if I can find pic of tunnel during such a day.
When I was laying on my back putting the BarnofParts hose protectors in I noticed the front tunnel/louvers where indeed bent up a little. Being a large old fellow who really isn't that flexible I was starting to get annoyed with my circumstances at that moment. Just reached up with a screwdriver...
I had the opportunity to take a lifelong friend on his first sled ride last saturday. I have a 17 XTX winder and a 13 Nytro XTX I just got last year so first time I was able to switch back and forth. Now, don't get me wrong I like the Nytro for going for solo rides around home, stubble fields...
